Now sure, if it was a white american it would be consiered racism because of White America's history with black's. 3/5ths human arguement an so forth. japan does not have this sort of history and beng called monkey is not considered offensive and not a racial slur for blacks. Do you know what a black man means in Japanese? "kokojin" this also means "brother". I know racism after living in America for twenty years and trust me Japan aint even on the border.

You do realize there are bars and restaurants that don't allow gaijin (non-Japanese)?
And that while Japanese people may be polite to your face, what they really think about you might be entirely different? (I've experienced this personally)
