Yeah, that concerns me the most. War isn't about the largest number, or the biggest and baddest technology. It's about breaking the will of the opponent.
Churchill said, "we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender". I don't believe that this is the case anymore for Europe or even the United States. Our position has changed to, "we won't fight because we're always wrong about everything and we're very very sorry, and even if we do fight, you can just kill a couple of our guys and demonstrate your ferocity and we'll leave with tail set firmly between legs".
America does not have the strongest will and hasn't had it for a long time; al Qaeda knows it.
