You can teach that some people don't believe in the holocaust to students and demostrate how stupid they are because we have eye witness accounts. There are people who lived through it that documented it and have spoken about it.
No one knows what happened in the begining, we all might be way off. These two things are in no way comparable. One is history, while the other is pre-history.
The people behind the ID theory are going about it wrong I'll give you that, but it's a very biased field with evolutionary theory cutting off any opposing arguements.
