Frank Shamrock is so powerful, that he signed two exclusive contracts with two companies, who would probably not have worked together, that made them work together.
All joking aside, Frank signed with both organizations, which nearly brought the two promoters to go to court fighting for his exclusivity. They finally agreed to just co-promote events that featured Frank on the card. In the end, it worked out well for both companies and for Frank as well.
