I don't think you will find someone who hates fellow Americans more than me, but this logic is infallible.
Every country likes to pretend America is not #1, but what other country has come up with more important inventions in the recent times. I didn't even include the military advances because those do not really effect everyday life. Just the recent Cervical cancer vaccine saves so many lives and is just a huge advancement. But of course, it is an American invention so no one talks about how huge it is.
