This may be a dumb question but i need answers. Heres the story, me and my friends wife started to get close, we would call each other all the time and gradually became infactuated with each other.

I came over to her house one day to meet up with her husband/my friend but i came 20 minutes early and he was still at work. This was the first time i saw her since we both told each other how we felt about each on the phone. It was a really awkard situation but we ended up kissing and groping each other. We stopped soon after that cause my friend/her husband was gonna be home in a few minutes.

It was really weird cause we both had to act like nothing had happend. I felt like a complete bastard for betraying my friend, but my emotions were just too strong for this women.

Well any way the next day she leaves him. I see her the next day and we sleep with each other. But we both feel guilty cause the husband /friend doesnt know about our relationship, he just thinks that she just left cause she is unhappy.

So she tells him everything. Hes both pissed at us ( understandbly so). So me and his wife have a relationship based on feelings for each other and sex. So the question im asking is that is it technically an affair if the the husband knows from the start what we are doing?
