Well, first off, anyone can argue that stealing is out of necessity. It may be a necessity in their mind, they can only appease it through the act of stealing, therefore making it necessary.
Second off, there are children being raped in New Guinea and Indonesian societies today in ritualistic fashion. Look up the Sambia tribe.
Thirdly, you can. You have the freedom to steal, cheat, lie, or whatever you choose to do. The only thing stopping you is yourself. (and maybe the police or whatever cultural laws you follow)
