What type of bike riding are you going to be doing?

When I ride I pick a cadence that I'm comfortable with, say 80-100 RPM, and keep things within that range. When I go up or down a hill I shift gears to maintain that rythm.

I'm into longer distance bike rides [150+ miles per day] and I never use energy bars etc. I actually pick my bike route so that I'm able to stop at gas stations every 15-20 miles. [sooner on hot days]

At every stop I just drink the contents of my water bottle, refill, and eat an apple or some fruit that I buy at the store. I've maintaned that pace for 14 hours...
