Though very good, Randy is probably the most OVERRATED fighter in MMA history. He beat Tim Sylvia and Gonzaga recently at HW. BigNog submitted Sylvia and would destroy Gonzaga if they ever fought. Randy left the UFC so he would keep his reputation intact, instead of getting tapped out to BigNog, the guy he was going to have to face.
BigNog > Randy Couture (and it's not even close)

I can't begin to contradcit you, because I have already clarified what I meant several posts ago, and it is clear you haven't read my justification.
Several people have come up with the same objection in this thread, and I haven't the time to explain myself to everyone. Greatness does not equal skill or ranks, and I explained myself on this earlier. My basis was due to
historical accomplishment. Randy is not only not the top P4P HW in the world right now, but he has NEVER been. Skill is NOT part of the equation as a necessary condition, but only contingently.
It is a matter of accomplishment throughout generations of fighting. Randy has been fighting since the 18 year old Vitor Belfort came to the scene as the 'next big thing' and shut it down. Since then, he's conquered titles beyond belief, and has recently defeated the much underated Sylvia and destroyed Gonzaga right after he destroyed the #2-3 HW on the planet at the time, Mirko. He has maintained himself as a contender for longer than any other fighter in history. And the fact that he is doing so in his mid 40's is just staggering.
You people need to read before you counter-argue.
