Their 2nd event is not going to be until October, with their 3rd in February and after that they're re-evaluating, according to an article on MMAWeekly.

The UFC wish they could put on a card like this but even if they could they would have no clue how to promote it right. They could have done a better job with the so called PRIDE/UFC unifications and they've proven to me that they are low budget.
Affliction looks like they're going to put on a high caliber show and do it right. Heck, they even got Michael Buffer (the real announcer while the UFC has the 2nd rate brother, Bruce)
