Shooto is much more then that. Infact if you read on the tshirts used as the official USA Shooto uniforms, it says Muay Thai, Judo, Jujutsu, Sambo and Catch. Shooto is an MMA style founded by Satoru Sayama. He based it on those 5 arts he trained in. Nowadays BJJ is also one of the main component's of Shooto. No way could it be attributed to two styles only. Let alone one style like Catch, like so many Catch nuthuggers like to claim.

Paulson is a supporter of Catch because he's trained with Catch guys like Billy Robinson. Anytime a Catch nuthugger gets wind of any affiliation with Catch, then the whole system becomes Catch. Even Paulson will tell you his style is a hybrid style. He is a Judo and BJJ BB. And an MMA fighter. It pretty clear that his stystem is not one style.
