I been in 2001, its was awesome. As far as staying at a place without kids, just look up online, many of the Palace resorts hotels are 18 and over. I belive the sun palace, and cancun palace. Do NOT stay at the moon palace, it is 18 and up, but far away from all the clubs. Goodluck
