They are based on mathematics, which describe reality quite well.
There is no math that explains a creator, because a creator doesn't exist. A creator doesn't exist because such notions rely on assumption of linear time and fixed-masses of energy that exist independently of everything else, the former becoming more improbable as the days go on and the latter simply being nonsensical and contrary to science. The only math for God that exists is that of a pantheistic or monistic God, which is abstract/impersonal and more like "the force" in Star Wars than the angry, childish dictator of the Bible, OT, or Quran.
