A "fucking" MEN bro. Some people really have no grasp on the English themselves because I can understand him just fine. Even after his fights when most everyone can barely utter complete sentences (rather than simple words). Must people resort to saying things like "Nog is gonna suck at coach because I can't understand him or Nog will lose because he doesn't know left from right." To you I say, do some research and watch any of his old interviews in Pride or recent UFC ones. Both he and his brother speak English very well.
As far as BJJ skills and teaching go. I say Nogueira has the upper hand, bar none. Last time I checked, one of their students is the UFC MW Champion. I'd bet the house that a Nog's BJJ black belt wins over Mir's BJJ black belt any and every day of the week.
I myself am over 50% deaf and can still understand Mintauro's words blindfolded (meaning lip reading isn't needed). Hearing and understanding are two different things. Once you understand what someone is saying, only then, will you truly be able to hear their words.
