Frankly, I think the Anglo countries should form their own bloc. Why would you want to join the europeans? They do not share your language or your style of law. I cannot wait to see what will happen to English Common law in the midst of a civil law dominated EU.

Sure we have our differences. Brits think yanks are a bunch of fat, gun toting, uber capitalist war-mongers (kinda like the British were before they lost all their power). We think you are either a bunch of effiminate Hugh Grant wanna-be's or drunken chav football hooligans. Still at the end of the day, we have more in common with each other than we do with the Europeans. I think you will find that America will become easier to deal with as the world re-enters a bi-polar or multi-polar paradigm.
