O-uchi is often used as a set up for other throws, but the thing to remember is to always actually try and get a score from the initial throw in a combo before using the 2 throw of the combo. Ive canned a lot of opponents from this, they do a really weak o-uchi or ko-uchi as a set up, but they dont really go for anything with the initial throw and as such it leaves them very vulnerable to a counter. But yeah, o-uchi and ko-uchi are akin to the jab in boxing.
