Nah it's not just that.
It's one of those self-struggle movies, except in this case based off a true story (the book was actually published 7 days before his death).
The movie will go over his life before the stroke, what he missed etc. and just shows the struggles he faced living. Communicate speak is only a minor way in which dialogue is initiated in the movie. What I liked, is hearing his thoughts while people would interact with him.
What's so great about this movie, is that unlike most movies you will watch and forget about. This will probably be stuck in your head, and make you think about things. That people really take things for granted, having kids and a wife. Not being able to hold them or speak to them.
It's some deep shit.
