We have some problems with Muslims youths in Amsterdam. And we have some area's that kind of resemble ghetto's.But there nowhere near as bad as in either France or Belgium. And those suburbs are nothing compared to the bad areas in the States so you dont need to worry about that part.Plus getting you daughter into a good school in Amsterdam isnt that hard. You just have to pick the right district and pay a little extra.Rotterdam is actually worse but still pretty mild compared to the rest of the world (comparing "bad" neighbourhoods here").The training is great and staying in Amsterdam isnt that expensive compared to London or Paris though the euro can be a problem now when your from the States. The main hassle is getting a room because there arent enough hotels and it isnt that easy to get a nice apartment.I think the kickbox training in the Netherlands is actually superieur to the training you get in Thailand if you want to train with the purpose of competing MMA or K1 style kickboxing.I love the Thai style but i think the dutch style got the whole combination, strong low kicks combined with good boxing and smart conditioning (in thailand you train all day long ,in the netherlands the focus more on intensity) down, which in my eyes is beter suited and a little bite easier to learn for people from the States.I think thaistyle kickboxing is more beautifull but i think the Dutch method is a little more effective.
