let's examine this fight realistically. two fighters who haven't fought serious competition in over a year are going to fight just for the heck of it. by the time they fight, their rankings and momentum that at first made the fight so dynamic is going to be gone completely.
the potential for Fedor to blow up in the American MMA scene by beating Randy in the biggest US mma stage is gone.
lastly, with all the drama that went back and forth between Fedor, Randy, and the UFC over the fight has sorta sullied it for me.

So why would the best heavyweights in the world still want to fight them, because they arnt ranked? And if you haven't noticed Fedor doesnt care about blowing anything up in America.
