I've used it once, about a month before Sydney's last summer.. Basically I worked my self from 78kg to 73kg and still had a bit of belly flab whihc was hard to remove. I cntinued going to the gym 3 times a week like I was already doing but the 3 other days a week I woke up and first thing I did was take a dose of L-carnitine with 500 ml (16 ounces of water) and continued to warm up and stretch. 20 minutes later my jog would begin which lasted for 40 minutes at a steady pace (covered about 8-9km in the process).
Anyway for a month, this resulted in about 12 cardio sessions and I dropped down to 69 kg with a cut midsection. I lost alot of fat, and i feel as though i gained muscle also. I recommend it, but only to get rid of that last little stubourn portion that just wont go away.
