Well I mean it's understandable for them to want to work on pins as well, and it'll be good for you to learn to escape them. admit they're annoying as hell and frustrating after a while, but you might as well use it as a chance to practise escapes. There are tons of wrestler and judokas who win by riding out top position in grappling tourneys. They'll be the winner if you were too lazy to practise escapes. Everything is useful!
