I'm not a fan. I like your post, and I am impressed with your honesty. I have watched countless boxing matches, where one fighter is over-matched and is just trying to survive or lose by respectable decision. The incidence of this in boxing is so high, even in hyped super fights that I'm surprised that such a big deal is made of your fight. I did not see your fight live. I read about it on Sherdog, and later saw the fight. I thought that you "ran" very little. You maintained boxing movement.

You did not tap for no reason like Pat Smith in his fight versus Royce Gracie. You did not work the result like Matt Hughes and Jeremy Horn at ADCC or many Pride fights. I can understand what you did more than what Sak did in the Royce rematch.

The fault in your actions was that you did not try to WIN with 100% effort. I'm surprised that someone as articulate as you would fight for the type of annual pay the UFC is paying you. I'd seriously consider moving on to whatever career is next for you. The UFC dream makes sense to the extent that one can convince himself that he can be a top five fighter. You already know that you aren't. Don't let them manipulate and use you.
