My mom went through Lung Cancer last year and did 5 weeks of radiation therapy. She got through it but b/c she has a very aggressive cancer she is still battling with it and may have to forever. She is in relative good health now but the thing is you never know when it will strike again. In short last year was the roughest year of my life. I've always been a mommas boy. On top of it our dog and cat died 1 week apart during this whole period which was crushing.
