Why the Dutch dominate...

Just want to share some thoughts, like to hear your opinion on this.

Let me introduce myself first. Right now i'm training JJ, but I just to be a MT-fighter for Maeng-Ho (Dekker's gym). During that time i saw numerous fights, and also the training program's for Dutch MT Fighters.

This first thing, is that most Dutch kids play soccer from an early age. Probably like Americans do baseball or basketball. They train their legs extensively and develop a good kicking technique, able to transfer a lot of power in their kicks.

Then, when they get old enough to begin MT, the first thing they learn is the lowkick.
Then, they get trained on: Jab, jab, straight, lowkick
And they repeat that set a thousand times, making it a devastating move.

That said, with a background like that most Dutch MMA-fighters need a LOOOONG time to adapt to the MMA-game.

Any thoughts on that?

And what is the main focus with American MT-schools?

ps: sorry if my English is bad...
