I converted a long time ago and I will NEVER EVER use a single ever again... More reasons is that doubles push your bottom jaw slightly forward to prevent you breaking your jaw and getting ko'd as easy. You cant bite your tong which I did a couple of times with a single. And it protects your lips and cheeks from cutting by covering all your teeth not just the top.

You cant talk for shit wearing it in practice tho... and you salavate alot more to start with cuz your mouth aint used to it.

I highly reccomend a double tho. Best choice I ever made.
I usually prefer the single but after I read this I have to say that a double guard sounds more effective. I think I might use a double now. Thanks
