I don't know about "training at Big Bear" but your cardio doesn't matter if you get finished in the second round. The last two people I've seen come out of there, Hendo and Stevenson, have not been impressive in their performance. When facing highly skilled opponents like Silva and Penn, they should have focused more on technique.
Even at his age, Hendo has all the tools to become champion in both divisions. He has punching power, a solid chin, and a great wrestling background, very similar to Chuck Liddel. The difference is that Liddel has (unorthodox)technique in his striking, and Hendo not so much. He was only able to land one overhand right on Rampage, which kind of stunned him, and one on Silva, which did absolutely nothing. He definitely needs to work on striking and his ground game before he can become champ in the UFC
tldr; Hendo got exposed in UFC he needs to go back to Japan where the competition is ez LOLzsdf
