In those situations where you have alcohol and an upset female, sometimes you feel that little hunch that says you should look into it a little. Tricky cases.
Except in my situation there was no upset female; she was just drunk. There was no report of a rape or any reason to think that there had been a rape. Everyone was clothed and nobody was upset until the cop started wasting everyone's time.

Again, I was giving a coworker a ride home and a power-tripping cop decided to "investigate" a non issue. Even the girl was telling him to leave us alone.

According to the logic of many of the cops (or wannabes / badge bunnies / mentally disturbed freaks like Joey M.) here, any time a guy is in the car with a drunk girl it's alright for the cop to waste everyone's time by repeatedly asking her if she had been raped and if everything was alright. Even after she told him everything was fine and to bugger off, he kept at it. "You can tell me if he hurt you, I wont let it happen again!" To anyone but the bootlicker authoritarian a-holes, this type of behavior is a terrible idea. And it was pretty clear that the cop was harassing and cockblocking me, as he thought I was going to get some action, while the only action he got was with the K9 unit.

And what's a guy supposed to do when he's in a situation like mine? What could I have done? If you move too slowly then your pig overlord will taze you. But hey, it's the cop thing to do to always stick up for other cops, and always give other cops the benefit of the doubt when they violate a person's rights. To have at it.
