great debate guys. Hogan is Hogan. The biggest figure this sport has ever seen. Jobbing should be rare just to protect the commodity---not just from Hogan's point of view but from the promoters. That being said, any wrestler getting creative control is a bad idea. Hogan killed a lot of great angles including the best of three series with Flair when Hogan joined WCW. Flair was supposed to win the second match but Hogan nixed it (the first one was the one where Shaq was theer and even with brass nucks and interference from Sherri, Hogan still won. Flair was supposed to beat Hogan in the second match, by dubious means of course that would have protected Hogan. Hogan nonetheless gave Flair a cheap coutout victory even with pre match interference from Arn. The part that sucked was that Hogan was going to win two out of three anyway and win the battle of the all time greats. He could have dropped the second match. But really, he should job rarely. all the all time greats jobbed rarely. Bruno never lost unless he wanted to. Same with Thesz, Rikidozan and others. In an historical sense Hogan jobbing was in line with other all time greats who drew a ton of money but not Hogan money.
