Anyway, what's wrong with losing to Perfect, Rude, or Roberts? They're not big enough superstars? Yoko was a worldwide sensation? You forget that by the late 80's early 90's people were getting tired of seeing Hogan win all the time. Those guys were as good as any to AT LEAST WORK WITH the holy mecca one true champion of champions worldwide star Hulk Hogan.
Once again, genius, I stand by what I said about Taker.
Yes they did ruin finishers and before indy guys and transition moves. Deal with it.
And LOL at everyone being a smark except you.

Nothing is wrong with losing to Perfect, Rude, or Roberts if you're a normal guy. Hogan wasn't a normal guy though. Yoko wasn't a worldwide sensation by any means, but he was huge and that means a lot in Mcmahon land. Despite having considerable pull, this was still before the days of creative control. the buck stopped with Mcmahon, and at the end of the day he picked who Hogan worked with. If Hogan was really worried about more talented guys making him look bad, he would have never wanted to work programs with Savage, Piper, and Dibiase, and would have tried to politic out of them. If you think finisher's were ruined by two people being able to kick out them, and not by the dozens people who treated ddts and piledrivers like transitional headlocks, then I don't know what to say. The lack of logic on that one is mind boggling. I never said everyone but me is a smark. Just you. You can't get past the fact that most fans out there love them, even though you don't like Taker and Hogan. I'm still waiting for your answer on why exactly Taker should retire.
