Best case scenario for Cuban is that Fedor walks through Randy, thus bringing more US fans on board the HDNET/M1 bandwagon.
To elaborate.

Cuban is seeing what we are all seeing these past 4 months.

A ***** in UFC's once-untouchable armor.

From more and more disgruntled fighters to lackluster shows (not all).\

The formation of DREAM and WVR which are supposedly looking at HDNet to air their shows.
M-1 appears to be going the way of as a fighter brokerage house rather than full on MMA promotion.

The legal troubles across the board for UFC (Xyience, Couture, SEG, etc.)

While Cuban is about money, he can see UFC's grip loosening ever so slightly on MMA.

HDNet can begin to co-ordinate Elite XC, DREAM, WVR, etc.

He has always been pro-athlete too as opposed to total pro-org. Hell, he let Dennis Rodman live at his house (which NBA called "favoritism")

I am sure he discussed with his legal team the ramifications of UFC vs. Couture and what precedents might be set by the case.

If UFC contracts are deemed to be flagrantly one-sided and many parts are determined to be null and void or un-enforceable, it could open the fighter market up considerably?

Cheers. I can't believe we are actually discussing something on SHerdog? Oh shit the mods are probably gonna come down on us for being coherent and relevant
