workout from rxfitness related to 300 workout
In an issue of rxfitness they had a setup of working to towards the test of the 300 workout. I know its been discussed on here many times, saying thats its a good workout but isnt the end all be all. What i was wondering is what people thought of the progressive workout given by rxfitness to achieve the ultimate goal of the 300 workout.
this is the workouts;
PHASE 1
5 pullups
10 deadlifts @ 135lbs
10 pushups
10 box jumps
10 floor wipers @ 135lbs
10 clean and press with 35lb weight
5 pullups
this is done in 2 sets with a 60 second rest between each exercise
Once this is complete with relative ease a couple of times, move on to phase 2
PHASE 2
10 pullups
20 deadlifts @ 135lbs
20 pushups
20 box jumps
20 floor wipers @ 135lbs
20 clean and press with 35lb weight
10 pullups
this is done in 2 sets with a 45 second rest between each exercise
Once this is complete with relative ease a couple of times, move on to phase 3
PHASE 3
15 pullups
30 deadlifts @ 135lbs
30 pushups
30 box jumps
30 floor wipers @ 135lbs
30 clean and press with 35lb weight
15 pullups
this is done in 2 sets with a 3 second rest between each exercise
Once this is complete with relative ease a couple of times, move on to the 300 test workout
300 TEST
25 pullups
50 deadlifts @ 135lbs
50 pushups
50 box jumps
50 floor wipers @ 135lbs
50 clean and press with 35lb weight
25 pullups
Any thoughts? I personally like the workup to the ultimate goal, and those phases in itself are great workouts!
Cheers
