I've significantly cut my calorie intake and I don't always feel hungry. I eat a lot more often than you do. I try to eat at least six times (every 2-3 hours) with a ~400 calorie meal. This keeps me from thinking about food at that 4+ hour mark and it's also one of Berardi's 7 habits.
Have you calculated how many calories you need to lose the weight you want to lose? You might be eating too little.
