I carry a 910, but it is very similiar to the blade geometry and taper of the 710 (biggest difference being the tanto point instead of the clip). I carry a half serrated edge model. It really depends on the use of the knife. A "tactical folder" really isn't the best knife for defensive tactics and having serrations really won't make a difference in use for that situtation alone. Straight edges are easier to maintain. I personally do a LOT of backpacking, camping, and hunting so I like the serration for cutting rope, 550 cord, or whatever that needs the serrations. If you plan on using it as a tool or for any outdoors purpose, I would recommend the 1/2 serrated edge.
