This definitely lets Dana know that this guy is here to play ball. However I don't know how many more aces he has up his sleeve like this but i'm guessing few to none. Cuban's gonna have to put up now. If he invests some coin and the shows are good, he will do well. If he tries to nickel his dime to the top, it won't work.

It really
is about getting the media's attention. That's free advertising and endoresment for the HDNet product.
Its irrelevant right now if the product is better than the UFC. As long as HDNet can steal marketshare and get bigger (and better, eventually) bit-by-bit, then they are on the right track. A Fedor here....a Mayweather there....it's a good start IMO.
