Defending against weapons is a different issue.
All in all this is supposed to be a martial arts forum so when I see posts asking which "Braveheart weapon" is best to carry around I get disgusted.

Yes, my post was facetious. I just hate these "I'm smarter than you" threads. Duh,
everyone knows that avoiding conflict is ideal.
Having said that, it isn't always possible, which is the working presumption of a "Weapons and Tactics" forum.
