I worked at an insurance company and I will tell you that people laugh at you and your personal information. Like say you file a claim, your redneck trailer has burned down or something... The pictures you send in are circulated and laughed at by a whole office full of people that are generally bored.

Like one guy filed a claim about his 600 dollar sunglasses being stolen. He sends in a bunch of stupid ass pictures of him wearing the sunglasses, and this guy looks like a complete tool. The pictures are circulated, blown up, romoshopped and all that. So just remember, even if you're communicating with a professional company like an insurance company, we're still laughing at you.

In this same vein, all of the stuff you're claiming on your insurance is viewed by the lowest guys on the totem pole. Every single day of the week I would sit with stacks of paper detailing what people were claiming on their home owner's insurance. I'm talking jewelry worth tens of thousands of dollars. Home entertainment systems, expensive art, etc. Now I'm not shady, but if I was, I could very easily know what houses to rob, and what to look for. I'd never do anything like this, but if I wanted to I had full access to your information.
