I lifeguarded for two summers and literally we used to work from 8.30 am to 7.30pm and then go out drinking until about 3am. If anything serious happened and we were blood tested or breathalysed we would have been screwed. This also lead to me falling asleep at my post at least twice...God bless mirrored sunglasses!
I've seen food picked up from kitchen floors and served. People reaching in to scoop ice for drinks and cutting their hands on it.
I worked in a mobile phone warehouse/repair centre, once a camera phone that had been repaired by us was sent back to the customer with a picture of an erect penis on it. That made the national newspapers and radio stations.
Currently I work in fund administration but there isn't too many unusual things. The biggest pricks tend to be rich individuals who think they know how the industry works better than I do.
