Not to mention that a lot less people have dental insurance than medical insurance, so it's all out of pocket. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled I was lucky enough to have it covered by my health insurance company because they were impacted or not impacted, I don't remember which. I do remember my dentist being cool as shit and making sure I was covered for the proceedure, though.
