I'm the type to go for the "exotic-looking" women for the most part. A girl with an accent, some colour, something unique...it just does it for me.
But I'm from Canada and I've actually found that I really like American girls, at least the few I've met. I fell for a Jewish princess from Cali while on vacation and loved her big heart and enthusiasm. She's what I think of when I think "American women"...though obviously this might be a skewed example.
