Lots of gaijin here date Japanese girls.........for a little while. Nearly every one of them eventually breaks up and the usual lingering sentiments was "she was just too much of a headcase!!". One or two Ive known here have worked and in both cases the guy was a pushover who accommodated all her weirdness as in both cases he had zero success with western women in his native country.

I happen to like Japanese culture. It's one of the reasons I married a Taiwanese girl instead of girl from Shanghai. I would have married a Japanese girl if I had spoken Japanese.
