Auto Mechanics: Not all of them are trying to rip you off, but you may be charged much more than you should have been. For example they go off a flat labor rate which means even if it takes them twenty minutes to change your brake pads they will charge an hour+ worth of labor. It's also very common for shops to "guess" what is wrong with the car, throw a part at it, and hope that solves the problem. It doesn't really matter if they had to put unneeded parts on your car because when you come to pay they'll tell you it was all required.
Security guards: They don't guard much. Many times when they see something clearly wrong they'll look the other way just so they don't have to get involved. Also they rarely allowed to physically stop you from doing anything. Instead they're told to call the police.
Fast food: They drop your food on the floor and think nothing of picking it up and putting it back on your plate.
