Well, I got these in the mail the other day. They are comfortable and appear to be well made. The leather is the thin leather that CSI appears to be using now on all their gloves. The Gel padding is EXTREMELY dense. The gloves seems to protect the knuckles very well, but would destroy your partners face. I just punched myself and a friend lightly because I did not want to have any visible wear on the gloves. Needless to say, the gloves were not soft at all. I'm definitely returning them and getting the Fairtex NHB Sparring Gloves.

My purpose for these gloves was for light standup sparring and ground & pound training. These gloves would not meet those needs because my partner would get injured. These gloves are just too firm.

That said, if you intend on LIGHTLY punching and/or doing bag work, they feel like they would be a pretty decent glove. (Assuming the leather holds up)
