NOTE: The article is over the top, but the subject is relevant.
This topic really was noticed by me when on the Jim Rome show last Friday, they compiled a list of ways that 'whitey' has offended us. IE: Tonya Harding etc. Considering the way Imus was persecuted, one would expect some kind of backlash for airing a segment dedicated to the failings of one particular race. However of course nobody would bat an eye at it. Could you imagine the fallout if it was a list of black atheletes that fucked up?
Why does this double standard exist? How can it be rectified?
