The stuff I've seen differentiates for season. For example, UA has their HeatGear, ColdGear, and I think something in between called ActiveGear or something like that. Their HeatGear stuff is very cool and light. Their ColdGear stuff is what I use during winter training, but the reality is that sweat + cold == brrr no matter what.
My Mizunos are in between, way too damn hot for summer training and not as good as the ColdGear during winter, but nice the other six months or so.
