I've worn them to class twice this week:

- Monday, we did bag work, partner drills, and some heavy sparring after class
- Wednesday (yesterday), we just did partner drills and light sparring...then I went and did some light bag work after class

People asked about my gloves after class and asked where I got them; let me tell you, they were completely blown away when I told them they only cost $35.00 AND that they were real leather (not like the crappy synthetic leather "Pro Force" gloves that they sell at our gym, which look very similar to the KO's)...that aside, no real complaints from anybody...even when I asked if it hurt any more or less than my other gloves when they got tagged and nobody really noticed a difference. When they break in, maybe it'll be a different story, but as of now, no big deal...

I like these better than my Ringsides thusfar, because they're a lot more snug and the cuff, while not very long (which I like) is just a tiny bit longer (probably half inch or so) and a bit more thickly padded than my Ringsides; so they give more support when I'm hitting pads and the bag, but the cuff isn't so long that it feels like I'm wearing a freaking sleeve (like "American style" gloves)...

One thing I really noticed is that when I was doing partner drills and "feeding" my partner as if I was holding a focus mitt, I felt the impact of their punches a LOT less; which would imply they absorb more shock than I'm used to...which is, of course, a good thing...less wear/tear on my joints never hurts, ya know?

All in all, I really like the gloves. I noticed because they're a bit more compact/dense, my offense was a little more effective this week than when I spar with the slightly larger Ringsides. Obviously, on the other hand, I got tagged a little more here and there because punches would either slip through or hooks would connect that would normally get covered up with the extra inch or so from my Ringsides....good times, good times...it'll just take adjustment...

Either way, this is just really preliminary review. What I plan on doing is rotating use each week to get the most out of the two pair of gloves I own. I'll have to update in a couple months with comments about durability...

Dollar for dollar, I'd recommend these gloves to anybody. In terms of comfort, price, and CUSTOMER SERVICE alone (not to mention quality/durability, which shall be told in a few months of regular use)...these are in a class of their own.

9/10 (because I don't believe in giving perfect scores on anything)

*edit* Forgot to add, that I haven't yet worked clinching with these gloves yet, so I can't comment about that either. I'll also update in due time with how they compare to my Ringsides in terms of hand flexibility and whatnot when we actually clinch...
