I agree with much of your post. But I think theres a difference between thinking BJ is not worthy of praise for great accomplishments (which he is), and thinking people on this board build him up too much.

Penn has done amazing things, and is a gifted fighter. But, people on this board build him up and put himin the top 3 of practically every weight class hes ever fought in, despite not winning in them. Case in point, many people put him at number 3 at WW, despite him not having a win there for years, and overall his record at WW being mediocre, but it was against great competition. But the fact remains, no one can objectively rank him in the top 3 at 170 or 155, which many people do. So he is overrated, even though hes worthy of immense praise.
