I understand the implementation of a liguist, but I have a hard time validating most of your claims.
I can't understand how you could speak in such a way to a fellow servicemember and I think your statement about people who join the military is bullshit.
What unit were you with and what kind of military experience did you have? Let's see if you can lie to me........

I worked with translators a couple of times, and I also had some intel guys attached a few times as well. I got to know all of them very well.
What is funny is that this guy is going around saying all of this crap about how important he was to the military, but anyone who has ever worked with a 'terp would say otherwise.
They are nothing special. All they do is go to DLI and learn X language, get attached to platoons that need someone to interpret, and basically take a backseat role in everything that happens during the mission.
They aren't even really part of the mission, and you probably know this as well as I do.
I guess that really depends on the 'terp though, as we had a guy that was really good to go and was all about being one of the boys...
Whatever, the kid feels the need to come on the internet and pretend to be someone that he's not, and when questioned about his "fancy" claims, responds with inflammatory BS that is only meant to patronize and show contempt.
