Many people are being attracted to the functional nature of the training. Every technique we practice is designed to work against a resisting, unpredictable opponent. We don’t see any point in learning techniques which will only work if your opponent lets you do it, or relies on them attacking you in a certain way. It is this approach which contributes to making MMA the most effective self-defence system and one hell of a SPORT!. We pride ourselfs at D-TEC on being a "real" Mixed Martial Arts club not teaching a watered down version of the sport that many Mcdojo instructors will tell you is the real deal! then take huge fees and your direct debit details. We focuse on competition under the Pseudonym "Team Asylum" as well as self defence so you have a choice to compete or not " You dont have to be a PRO fighter to train like one!
