JW was one of my favorites, from 6-7 years ago at soboba casino. i remember watching his fight ringside at kotc vs yves edwards. JW was dropping high kicks in 40º rain, and won. super grappler and bjj too, particularly the tri choke. i was confused when he disappeared for 5 years, since he seemed a very legitimate and formidable contendor, but very glad to see him back on the IFL, with a lotta new tattoos. chris brennan was his mentor. i wonder if he had a substance abuse problem, or what would drive somebody to do this.
