wanderlei will most likely lose in decision or tko if he fights in the ring. in a similar fashion to how crocop lost, wanderlei will not be able to get up from a take down and will suffer punches and elbows on the ground. this is ufc scenario.
however, pride does not allow elbows and the refs give fighters less time on the ground if the top fighter is in the bottom fighter's guard. wanderlei will benefit from this rule and thus will most likely do better in the ring vs. the octagon.
i'm not sure who will win, of course, but wanderlei has to improve on his ground skills to be successful in ufc, where ground and pound is a avery effective strategy. gnp does not work in pride for the most part as the refs will stand up the fighters. and since wanderlei is a harder striker than chuck (when healthy), i would lean toward wanderlei winning by ko or decision.
shogun of course, would beat chuck in either pride or ufc. hendo is a cerebral fighter and would give chuck a good fight.
